Casting resin with glow powder

What you will need

2 unwaxed plastic mixing/ measuring cups (do not use good dishes, will be ruined)

Wooden mixing sticks (I used Popsicle sticks )

Resin mold

Clear casting epoxy

Mold conditioner and release

2 oz glow powder pigment
(Found on Internet, shop around prices widely vary)

I used a 4:4 tsp ratio of resin and harder with 1 tsp of glow powder. The more glow powder the stronger the glow.

Follow the mixing instructions, it is important! Equals part of resin and hardener is a must so don't guesstimate, measure.

Make sure you protect working surfaces!

Pour in molds and wait 24 hours

Or if you are as impatient as I am, you can heat oven to 125 and shut off. Let cool a few minutes, and put mold in baking pan into oven for about 10 minutes. Heating resin is at your own risk, this is not recommended, these materials are flammable.

When resin is hardened and no longer tacky, can safely pop out of molds.

The more glow pigment used the brighter the glow.
